Character Details

I thought I'd bring this back from the old site. So lets start again with;

Ayala

Ayala was born in 1946 and was the daughter of the widower Nina Burke. Nina was an overbearing mother who never let Ayala out of her sight or live a normal childhood. She was always strict with Ayala and only mentioned it was due to her fathers death. Also because of Ayala's father's death Nina was involved in magical arts. When Ayala was 12 her mother dragged her to the attic and with out warning transported the two Azarath, a place where Ayala would be safe. However Nina still loomed over Ayala where ever she went and Ayala was never able to make friends. During her time in Azarath Ayala learned how to influence people's emotions. A power she doesn't really like to use. Several years passed and news reached of a devil child called Raven (This is actually a part of the Teen titans history) Hearing this Nina sent Ayala's soul self to a dimension that she thought was empty. But instead it was filled with others who had gone mad. The people called it Diyu and there was no time, there was no need to eat or to sleep and there was no death. You simply lived no matter what.

Mai reached into this dimension and accidentally made contact with Ayala who convinced her this dimension was empty and Mai could spend just one day sorting out her head. Ayala's intentions where to go back by day's end, but she simply needed at least one day away. Mai agreed and her soul went to Diyu and Ayala's moved to Mai's gaining all her memories. Ayala's freedom meant she could now rebel, she turned into a wild child to rebel against her mother's intentions. But when the tower was destroyed along with her chances of switching with Mai again Ayala decided she would make this a long term commitment and went after Reizo.

When she gained Mai's memories she saw how sweet Reizo was to her and didn't understand why she was with Archeron. She wanted to be with Reizo instead, but after her identity was revealed Reizo felt betrayed. Ayala acted like it didn't mater to her and continued her party girl routine.

Soon after she was kidnapped by M.A.C Reizo passed and although this devastated Ayala she was determined to stay her happy cheerful self, to ignore all of it and just enjoy life. But after being raped by Marcello it all hit her and she became quiet, awkward and nervous. Normally her mother would take care of this and Ayala was not sure how to deal with it on her own so she turned to Archeron.

Then she was kidnapped by Black Thunder and endured 3 months of being raped, beaten and tortured. It took a devastating affect on her psyche and Ayala constantly has nightmares about it and is terrified of everything around her. After being saved by Archeron and sent back in time Ayala started a relationship with him. Though she constantly questions if he will stay with her or go with Mai again. She questions his love because she question's her own, although Reizo is gone she still loves him more then Archeron and as she is healing from her traumatic experiences she's starting to realize this.

Charade

Most of Charade's life is a mystery, no one knows how old Charade is, if he really is a male or even if he had a life before M.A.C though he likes to think he did.

Charade's first memory is waking in a dark room in status chamber. The power to the entire building had failed and so his status chamber stopped working too. In the darkness he heard screams and gunfire. Then the wall beside him collapsed and a woman was thrown against his chamber door breaking the glass. Several soldiers walked through the new hole in the wall. The woman fought them off and won, after her fight she noticed Charade standing naked behind her.

The woman pushed her gun against his head and began asking if he was friend or foe. When instead of replying Charade curiously batted the barrel of her gun, she knew something was wrong with him. She placed her hand on his head and found out he had no memories. She introduced herself as Captain and pulled Charade away back to her own little base.

For the next 4 years Captain raised Charade like a son, teaching him how to talk, fight and how to never get in a relationship. However somewhere down the line the relationship turned sexual mostly from Charades blond cheerleader transformation. But it never affected their friendship and Captain never gave up looking for the truth about Charade.

But one day Captain went to an M.A.C base and never came back. Charade waited for days, never giving up hope. But eventually he made his move and killed everyone in the base she went to but found no sign of Captain. So he spent month drifting from city to city searching for her.

Until he reached Jump City. He saw her in a news report as the newest member of the Enforcers. Charade snuck into her bedroom and waited for her. Overwhelmed to see her Charade hugged her tightly, not even caring she had abandoned him. Captain explained that during her last mission she found a girl named Tek and saved her, then when Tek offered for Captain to join her team she decided this lifestyle would be nicer. She explained that she thought Charade could now handle himself but if he wanted to join she could probably get Mai to agree. Charade declined the thought of having someone other then Mai as his leader was strange.

So Charade disappeared keeping contact with Captain only by random phone calls. He lived out various lives gaining houses in various towns around the country. But his favorite was his mansion in Jump City he gained after marrying a dying billionaire under the guise of Juliet Joplin. But he still had no idea who he was before and although he could become anyone he had no face to call his own.

(This part of Charade's life takes place after Ushi and Adian's death) Charade heard about Captain being badly injured and thrown in the hospital and decided to visit her face to face. But on his way he was visited by Bedell and Delilah with a message from Madora. They had no idea who he really was and the message was actually for one of his alter-ego's Roberta. Charade noticed Delilah was uncomfortable and decided to follow the two. He found M.A.C's Jump City base and discovered what Bedell was planning to do to Delilah. After narrowly escaping he went to see Captain and meet Takara, at last making his presence known to the team.

After explaining about Delilah and healing Captain he went to the Jump City M.A.C base and encountered Tess for the first time. Charade shot Tess in the side of the stomach thinking she was an enemy. Ayala took Tess leaving Charade and the rest behind. Charade shook off the guilt and carried on meeting Rayvyn. With Rayvyn's dying breath she stabbed Captain in the throat killing her almost instantly.

Charade grabbed Captain's corpse and made a deal with Bedell to find Jesabel who would lead them to Madora's replacement. Charade knew Jesabel as an old friend of Captain's, the two hated each other. He was teamed with Rayvyn and the two spent the next 3 months together.

After three months the two began sleeping together and Charade discovered Ray had promised herself to Hee. However he was to focused on getting Captain back to really care about that. They found and killed what remained of the children of M.A.C and discovered Jesabel's last known location as well as Nadia's existence. Charade felt guilty around Nadia as he had tried to kill Jesabel and Nadia in a misunderstanding years ago.

Nadia agreed to help Charade and he was overjoyed to get Captain back. However when Tess attacked everything went wrong. Even though he was dying Charade felt almost like he deserved it. He had killed this woman's child, let Nadia down and killed the children of M.A.C in a way his death was justified. It was all over now.

He woke up dazed and confused his first thoughts were of Rayvyn and Nadia and how he had to save them. His next thoughts were of Jesabel choking him screaming for her daughter. Although he was weak he went with her to find Nadia. Her mental state was destroyed and she helped Bedell kill Jesabel and almost kill Charade.

He returned once more to Captain who was unhappy with him surrendering Nadia to M.A.C but understood. With Nexia's help h located Hee and made a deal to trade Kitsune for Rayvyn. Captain had mentioned Kitsune to Charade before but he didn't know much about her so he agreed. After easily infiltrating Lucien's temple and kidnapping Kitsune he made the trade and took Rayvyn to the hospital. Although he was hopeful she would survive he was nervous about her. Which began to make him think about his relationship with her though these thoughts were interrupted by Takai and Shiva.

After he discovered Rayvyn was fine he went out on a booty call and was later awoken by a nightmare and rushed back to Rayvyn. He took her too his house under the guise of Juliet Joplin and left her there to find Takai wounded on a side walk. When he went to the hospital to get her stitched up he found it collapsing. He raced inside to save numerous civilians and found Captain injured and hanging by an edge. He struggled to think of a way to save her but before he could she fell to her death.

Charade was devastated but continued helping others out including Abri who he didn't know was the cause of Captain's death. Exhausted he returned to his home and to Rayvyn's embrace. But even though all that had been done he still needed revenge. Charade is determined to find who killed Captain and bring them to justice, this time he has no way of bringing her back so theres nothing to keep him calm.

Charade doesn't know how he feels for Rayvyn. Love is an alien concept to him so even though he feels for her he isn't sure what it is and he doens't know how to commit to her, it's unclear if he ever will.

And even though Charade is a good guy and acts happy and perverted all the time he is plagued with guilt and feels like he is a bad man. Every person he couldn't save, every person he's killed even M.A.C soldiers who had no choice weigh on his mind even trading Kitsune for Rayvyn. He simply acts like a world class man-whore because it's how he was raised to be, he doesn't know any other personality. There's no way of really telling how unstable he is beneath his mask... no pun intended there.

Nexia

Nexia was born in Aeon City, her Mother was a geologist and her Father was a stay at home Dad who took care of Nexia. Since birth Nexia was different, she was quieter then most babies (Which her parents never minded) and although no one knew it she saw the world differently. To Nexia everything shimmered and glowed with its own essence of magic. The more magically inclined a person/creature/object was the brighter the glow. It would take Nexia a while before she figured out that this was not how people would normally see, after watching images on televisions and looking at photos she noticed that this is how people saw the world. Although at this time she did not know why she saw glowing or why her skin was the brightest she didn't tell her parents seeing the world in this light was beautiful to her.

During Nexia’s school years she would discover not only was the world different to her but she was different to the world. It seemed she was bound with luck, as everything she wanted just seemed to come to her I.E A+ on a pop quiz or getting a date to the school dance with the most popular boy. It would be later she learns that this was because she had more mana then others.

She learned this when her parents began foster care and one of the first foster children was a girl named Remi. Remi was strange but friendly, Nexia and her soon became close but she could tell Remi was different the glow around her wasn’t like her Mothers or Fathers or even her own. They all seemed to have a white glow around them where as Remi’s was a bright gray. Nexia began to study the girl curious about what was so different about her. When eventually Remi confessed she was half demon. The two began studying demons and the magic they had and Nexia learned to focus her magical powers into different spells.

Years later Remi had moved to another foster home, but Nexia continued her studies without her. Not because she wanted to but more because she wanted answers as to why she saw the world differently and why she could influence things around her. Before she knew it Nexia was a fully fledged witch but never really did any spells because she felt it gave her an unfair advantage.
At 16, Nexia’s Mother was offered a 1 month trip to Antarctica to study the effects of global warming and to hopefully find a way to save the Antarctica. A fortnight after she left Nexia and her Father received word that there had been a cave in and her Mother had not made it out. This would be the first and last time Nexia tried necromancy. Her father found her unconscious in her room with rotting flesh surrounded by candles.
Nexia spent sometime in the hospital recovering, haunted by thoughts of her mother’s frozen corpse in a blood splattered cavern and how she could do nothing to save her. Nexia and her Father grew distant after this. Neither of them talked about why Nexia was hurt or why he spent all day in his bedroom ignoring her. They simply existed in the same house but not really paying attention to each other. When Nexia found a bill from the bank, threatening to take away their home she used her powers to win the lottery. But her guilt got the better of her that she had used her powers for personal gain and she ended up giving it to the local orphanage and getting a job as a waitress. It was barely enough to get by, but it was enough to survive. Nexia had never felt so alone.

After a while she noticed there was money missing from her purse, money she needed to feed them. She confronted her Father about this and discovered the reason he hadn’t gotten a job and spent all day in his room. Her Father was a drug addict, rather than feel pity for him she felt anger. She was alone and he had practically abandoned her for his own needs when she needed her Father the most. The two argued for hours but it wasn’t until he slapped her that the fight ended and Nexia left.

At age 18 Nexia Aeon City and it was the last time she talked to her Father. She made her new home in Jump City with a job as a florist and although her Father tried to call and write to her she never responded. 2 years later Jump City experienced a hurricane, during which The Enforcers were saving as many people as they could. Captain saved Nexia from falling from a roof top and Nexia offered to take her to dinner as a thank you. But Captain refused. So Nexia begged her, repeatedly till Captain finally agreed.
Nexia surprised Captain with a night time boat ride and although the two kept their relationship a secret it was a year later when Captain proposed. Nexia happily agreed, even though Captain was the first woman she had been with she was defiantly the best person she had been with.

A few weeks later Captain called Nexia, beaten and bruised telling her she had left the Enforcers and Mai had beaten her. Nexia was secretly happy to have Captain quit and know she was out of harm’s way. But when she took Captain to the hospital she found out she was now the target of M.A.C as Captain was getting her wounds fixed by the doctors Nexia was kidnapped.

She awoke later to Delilah chaining her to a wall in a cage but later Takara and Vincent came to save her. After a very confusing conversation between Delilah and Takara Nexia was freed when she saw Captain beaten down, stabbed and burned. Without her pouch filled with potions she was next to useless. However when she found out Tek had betrayed and shot Captain Nexia went into a fury of rage. She beat Tek down (Her first violent act) until Kitsune pulled her away and convinced her she could get revenge on Tek later.

When the others were distracted and Saya was frozen by Tek Madora snuck up and kidnapped Nexia quietly. Madora forced Nexia with her life to send Ayala back to Diyu and bring back Mai, simply so Madora had the pleasure of killing her. Although Ayala screamed and begged Nexia continued, her guilt was overcome by fear. But Madora’s plan failed after the Enforcers attacked her and Nexia sent her soul to Diyu returning Mai with Curiosita who happened to be a little too close to the action in Madora’s body.
Nexia thought it was all finally over, she took Captain to the hospital (Only stopping back home to pick up her pouch of potions) and talked with Ayala. She tells Ayala she doesn’t want to be a part of the Enforcers because of the personal sacrifice and also she never wanted to be special. After she sees Captain Nexia spends as much time with her as she can until she has to leave. She starts walking to her home hoping Captain can be alright until she can come up with a suitable healing potion until she is thrown into a fight between Bato and Mai/Curiosita (Driven insane by the chip in Madora’s brain)
This is the first time Nexia shows her powers in battle though she never uses any life threatening spells until Mai/Curiosita are about to kill her. She throws gila juice in their face and as she is about to perform the spell to kill them Kira stabs Nexia in the stomach.
When Nexia next woke up in a hospital bed she is visited by Delilah and Takara who told her Captain died in a M.A.C raid. Nexia takes the news quietly telling the two she will find a way for Captain to come back as they leave. Once Nexia is healed up enough to leave she returns to her home to fix up whatever damage is left to her stomach and research on ways to bring Captain back without killing herself.

Nexia becomes obsessed, she leaves her job, stays up for nights on end and frequently forgets to eat as she spends all her time studying. When she was approached by Shade. He told her he wanted to time travel though she said there was no stable spell for time travel so Shade told her he was making a machine a fusion of science and magic and if she helped, he would save Captain. With all hope lost she made a deal with the devil.

Nexia hated herself for helping a team as evil as Black Thunder and so during her stay in the tower did as her Father had and turned to drugs. Nexia entered a state of deep self loathing, for helping Black Thunder, for letting Captain die, for becoming like her Father and for betraying all her morals. But as much as she hated herself she decided it would be worthwhile for Captain’s return.

But when the machine blew up Nexia assumed it had been a failure and lost all hope. She returned to her apartment which was mostly empty as she had sold most of it for her habit and to pay rent. With no one to turn to for support she finally called her Father, only to find out he had died a few days prior from a stroke. She looked to the photos of herself and Captain to find strength but instead found rage and threw the photos to the ground before swallowing a handful of pills. She slumped against the wall in a corner and waited for death.

Captain found her just in time and took her to the hospital before being called away on Enforcer business. While Nexia was alone Danika kidnapped her and brought her to a man named Svem to placed in his match against Delilah, Kitsune and Captain against her will. Nexia used her powers to not only influence the objects around her but to slice through Delilah skin, this is the most extreme use of her powers to be seen.

Once the group escaped Svem they met with Charade who was looking for Rayvyn after Nexia helped him locate her but after this Kira run into her. Nexia was planning to kill her once and for all but her spell went wrong and Kira instead of aging to dust only aged a few years. Nexia however thinks she is dead; she hasn’t told anyone she ‘killed’ Kira.

Since Captain’s first death Nexia has become more viscous, before she would have simply beaten Kira (As she did Tek) But since her change she has been harbouring a secret rage which has been burning to come out when confronted by Kira who once nearly killed her she snapped and tried to take her out. She hasn’t told anyone because she fears admitting what she did to other would also mean she’d have to admit it to herself.
When she returned to her apartment Abri confronted her with Shana as a gift, an apology for Svem. Not sure what to do she called Delilah (Nexia being the only knowing she wasn’t a human as Delilah said at the time) and together the two determined what Shana was and dressed her.

A little while later Captain called Nexia wanting help with Curiosita, Nexia agreed and with Delilah and Shana following her she went to the hospital when Nightmare attacked. As Nexia recalled the visions of her Mother she had in the hospital at 16 she seemed to remain more in control then others and was able to see through the illusion but not break it. Once she awoke and comforted Captain, Delilah showed her true form.

As Captain fought with Takara about her staying with Delilah, Nexia decided that if Takara could do it then so could Captain and confessed about Black Thunder. However unlike Takara and Delilah, Captain could not accept this and left Nexia saying that she was “Done with you people” Nexia returned to her home heartbroken.

Later Charade met with her and told her about Captain’s death and her orders to look after Nexia. Nexia was distraught at losing Captain again but was thankful that in the end she did forgive her and care enough to ask Charade to take care of her. Charade asked her for help in taking revenge but Nexia rejected knowing that if she did she would lose what little of her morals she still held onto and would become a woman Captain would hate. She told Charade and Kitsune where to find Curiosita and Captain’s killer asking only that the returned to her.

But after the two left Nexia alone she began to think about Captain and how she had only been back a few hours. In her rage she broke what furniture remained in her house, but did not turn to the drugs again as it had already taken her Father away. Nexia feels betrayed by nearly everyone in the world for leaving her in some way; although she is a creature of pure vengeance she still has a good side which mostly keeps her in line. There is no telling the extent of her powers or how time without Captain will affect her.

Bedell (I probably put the least effort into writing this one and should re-do it buuuut meh)

Bedell once had a happy childhood, his Mother and Father lived with him in a lighthouse and when he was 10 his Mother fell pregnant again. Bedell was too be a big brother and he couldn't be happier.

However when they day of his sister's birth came his Mother passed from complications and his world crumbled. His Father struggled to take care of a new born and a 5 year old all while paying off funneral bills and mortage bills. It was hard but he managed to scrape by barley.

Unfortuantly Bedell took his Mother loss hard and blamed his little sister, who his Father paid so much attention too and who kept him up so many nights. He hated little Isabel with a passion. So one day while his Father was working Bedell picked up Isabel and took her to the edge of the cliffside they lived on and dropped her off. He heard her smash against the rocks bellow and smiled at the thought that he had redeemed his Mother.

The next thing Bedell heard was screaming from his Father who was running towards him. Bedell smiled awaiting his congratulations but instead his Father for the first time struck him. Bedell was shocked at his Fathers rage and ran back to the house for saftey. He grabbed a knife and as his Father lunged at him Bedell plunged the knife into his Father's stomach.

His Father-still alive-slumped against the wall trying to stop the bleeding. This began Bedell's facination with blood while his Father was weak Bedell began disecting him to see what other pretty things were inside. Once his Father passed away, Bedell sat down to a bowl of ceral and then left the house behind.

Bedell no longer considered himself entirely human, seeing himself as something new, something better and human's were lesser creatures, prey for his amusement.

As the years went by Bedell spent his time lving on the streets picking off innocent people as he pleased and using the corpses for food to survive and the money he found in their pockets to save up and purchase a fine suit as Bedell took pride in looking his best.

At age 14 Bedell was stalking a red haired woman in the dead of night and once he was certain they were alone he striked. His blade plunged deep into the middle of the woman's back seperating the vertabre leaving her paralyzed. He chuckled as she fell limp and pulled away his blade ready to feed on her as she was still alive.

However what Bedell did not know was the woman was as much a monster as him, she was Madora. And rather then attack the young lad she took him in, impressed that he could sneak up on her.

He saw her as a Mother and liked to think he were her long lost son. She kept him secret, hidden away from everyone else in M.A.C and he thought this made him special. A woman like Madora-Whom he saw as a god- Wanted to keep him all to herself.

She gave him the name Bedell (His real name is as of yet unknown) and the powers to track down anyone he thought of. Though this was less fun.

As the years passed Bedell become more and more gentlemen like he wore suits (His favorite stolen from June of the children of M.A.C his first oredered kill) and he spoke in a polite manner. But his thirst for blood and power never ceased and he earned his spot as a leagendary torturer.

Madora leanred of her demmise through Ona's powers to see the future and devised a plan for Bedell. She left him with a file of instructions and a stack of taped messages for others. And then she had all memories of him erased.

Bedell left M.A.C as if he were never there and only appeared when the timing was right to find Nadia (Madora's daughter) to temporarily take over M.A.C until Kira was old enough and powerful enough. Then once Kira took over the world Madora was to return in Nadia's body, kill Kira and claim the world as her own.

However the plan wayward after Bedell realized he could lead M.A.C, he could rule to world and he could plunge it into the madness and chaos he loved. But despite his monstrous nature he was contained in a frail human body, he needed Nadia.

After trading Captain for Nadia Bedell warped her mind (With little care for the consecences) until she saw him as her god. She was the muscle and he was the brains and together they could rule M.A.C however there was still Kira left behind.

Bedell decided to enlist Lucien for her demise and he really didn't care how he went about it. However after returning to M.A.C and putting his latest mind control technology to test (On Abri) it seemed all of Bedell's enemies launched an attack on M.A.C

M.A.C survived but barley and Bedell is still trying to gain power by controlling Charade and anyone else he can get his hands on.

Next up is Madora... But I'mma need to re-read a lot of the archives to do it right

Okkkay turns out I can't do Madora with out revealing a couple of hidden plots, so who would you guys like to know more about?
